The Lone Bellow got some national spotlight when they played The Tonight Show this past Wednesday, playing "Bleeding Out" from their spectacular self-titled debut.
I love when good things happen to good bands, particularly those who need and merit wider exposure. The Lone Bellow are, as we near the midway point of 2013, one of my favorite musical discoveries this year. Their album is, for the moment, the one I've spent the most time listening to this year (although The National's Trouble Will Find Me is quickly catching up).
If you missed their performance, we've got it embedded here. If you haven't picked up this album, you are in danger of the flames of Hell. Don't go to Hell. Listen to The Lone Bellow. You can thank me later.
Oh and to avoid another potential pitfall of Hell, you will want to skip to the end of the show. You can see tab markers in the video embed from The Tonight Show; go to the last marker and you'll find what you need to save your very body and soul from torment and enternal burning and buggering.
