New sensation Vintage Trouble stormed yet another late night television show, bringing their amazing music and the power of their presentation to Conan O'Brien's show, this time joined by soul legend Booker T. Jones (formerly of Stax's Booker T & The MGs).
Frontman Ty Taylor summoned the soul of a preacher and gave a brief testimony about his parents in introducing the band's song "Nancy Lee," the moment made even more religious by the righteous touch of Booker T on organ.
They quickly kicked things into gear and gave a rousing performance, bringing both the audience and host to their feet. It was yet another in a string of acclaimed performances on national TV that include appearances on The Tonight Show and David Letterman. They've played a different song from their accalimed debut album The Bomb Shelter Sessions on each show, allowing audiences to see a different side of their musical personality while showing that same spark, enthusiasm, and passion they put into every performance.
In addition to those high profile TV gigs, Vintage Trouble is supporting The Who on their US tour and will be joining them this summer for the European leg of their ongoing tour. In addition, they'll play Coachella and do dates with Dave Matthews Band as well.
Check out the great performance with the legendary Booker T. Jones and be sure to check out their album The Bomb Shelter Sessions. Vintage Trouble is one to watch, kids. Jimmys Kimmel and Fallon, Mr. Ferguson: your booking agent has a call to make. THIS is Must-See TV!
